The SIMOTICS GP series comprises lightweight, aluminium-housed low-voltage motors positioned as the most economical choice for standard operating conditions. They cover 0.09 kW to 45 kW in efficiency classes IE1, IE2, IE3 and IE4, with 2, 4, 6 or 8 poles.
With protection up to IP66 and a paint system up to C4 they also suit humid atmospheres. The line-fed motors can optionally be run on a frequency converter, and dedicated converter-optimised VSD10 and VSD4000 lines are also available. The series is now supplied by Innomotics as Innomotics GP.
