The Öztekfen Y series (YRH) consists of horizontal industrial gear units designed for harsh operating conditions. They are built with 2, 3 or 4 axes, with cast iron housing and cover, and hardened and ground case-hardened steel gears.
The drive can be connected via mechanical or fluid couplings, belts or chains. Cooled versions are available for high ambient temperatures. For extruder applications, the YRE type has an extruder neck cast integrally with the housing to carry high axial loads.
