GAMAK
GAMAK low and medium voltage motors: single-phase, three-phase, ex-proof, ATEX 22, smoke extraction, crusher and milking motors, IE2–IE4.
GAMAK was founded in 1961 to supply Turkish industry with domestically built electric motors and today manufactures at its plant in Dudullu, Istanbul. Alongside pressing, machining, winding, assembly and aluminium die-casting, the factory has a custom-build department, a motor test laboratory and its own copper wire production.
Low-voltage motor types
GAMAK low-voltage motors are totally enclosed squirrel-cage induction motors for supplies below 1000 V. Single-phase motors are built in frames 71–100 and three-phase motors in frames 63–450. Besides general-purpose single-phase and three-phase motors, the range includes ex-proof and ATEX 22 motors for explosive atmospheres, smoke extraction motors (standard and pad-mounted) for fire safety, crusher motors for heavy loads and milking machine motors for agriculture.
Medium-voltage motors
For high-power processes GAMAK also builds cast iron medium-voltage induction motors for 3–10 kV supplies, rated 150–4000 kW.
