Omega brake motors slow down or stop the driven equipment quickly and safely. A compact single-disc brake is mounted on the non-drive-end shaft and engages by spring force whenever power is lost.
The brakes run on 24 V or 205 V DC, the braking torque can be adjusted for soft or hard stops, and a manual release lever is available on request. All standard outputs from frame 80 to 250 are built in efficiency classes IE3 and IE4.
