Omega marine motors are high-efficiency induction motors built for use on ship decks. The insulation system, paint and motor protection are chosen to withstand the humidity, salt and temperature swings of the marine environment.
Depending on the application, options such as C5 corrosion-class paint, stainless fasteners, winding heaters and higher IP protection can be added. If your project requires classification society approval, please state the relevant rules in your quotation request.
