The SIMOTICS FD (Flexible Duty) series consists of low-voltage motors with high power density, optimised for operation on a frequency converter. They cover 200 kW to 1,600 kW in shaft heights from 315 to 450 mm, with a rectangular grey cast iron housing.
Thanks to the modular design, air or water cooling and self or forced ventilation can be selected. Combined with SINAMICS low-voltage converters, the motor and drive system meets the requirements of system efficiency class IES2. The series is now supplied as Innomotics FD.
