SIMOTICS motion control motors are the Siemens servo motor family for machines that demand high dynamics and precise positioning. The current core series are the compact, power-dense S-1FK2 (0.26 – 7.1 kW) and the S-1FT2 (0.26 – 15.7 kW) with higher inertia and robustness; both reach rated speeds of up to 6,000 rpm.
With a DRIVE-CLiQ connection and electronic rating plate, the motors are quick to commission on SINAMICS S120 and S220 drives. Fully assembled and tested S-1FG1 servo geared motors are available as helical, parallel shaft, bevel and helical worm versions. The SIMOTICS motion control family also includes main (M), linear (L) and torque (T) motors.
