Francia (Italy) right-angle bevel gearboxes: AG series with Gleason spiral bevel gears in aluminium and cast iron housings.
Francia S.r.l. is a precision engineering company based in Correggio, Italy. In power transmission it is best known for its right-angle bevel gearboxes, used to turn a shaft axis through 90° or to drive several points synchronously from a single power source.
All sizes of the AG series use Gleason spiral bevel gear sets. The smaller sizes (AG16 – AG50) have aluminium housings and the larger sizes (AG80 – AG120) have cast iron housings. Versions with 2, 3 or 4 shafts and motor-mounted options are available.
