The Francia AG80 – AG120 series consists of cast iron right-angle bevel gearboxes designed for applications that need more power and torque. The housing has machined mounting faces and a GEOMET 321 coating.
Gleason spiral bevel gears provide quiet, accurate power transmission with low angular backlash. In addition to 1:1 and 2:1, a 4:1 ratio is available on sizes AG100 and AG120. These sizes can be fitted with an IEC motor flange (PMG) for direct motor mounting. The gearboxes are supplied without lubricant; the oil quantity and plug positions depend on the mounting position.
