Varan fire pumps can be equipped in line with NFPA 20 and TS EN 12845 requirements. The NFPA 20 configuration uses a GG25 cast-iron casing, bronze impeller, AISI 316 or AISI 304 shaft and soft packing, with equipment such as pressure and vacuum gauges, an automatic air release valve, a flexible coupling and a casing relief valve. The TS EN 12845 configuration includes a flow meter, butterfly valves and an eccentric suction kit.
Fire booster sets are built with one, two or three PVM, KD40, KD50, VKD40 or VKD50 pumps. Their control panels include a weekly test programme, siren and light alarm, digital setting display, phase and motor protection, and equal-ageing functions.
