The DYW series are Dereli's spring-applied brakes with IP66 – IP67 protection. They brake when de-energised; when the coil is energised, the magnetic field pulls the pressure plate against the springs and frees the friction disc, while a sealing O-ring and cable gland protect the housing from the environment.
Offered in 9 sizes (01 – 09) with standard voltages of 24, 48, 98 and 190 V, they feature class HC coil insulation, corrosion-protected metal parts, asbestos-free linings and an optional cold climate version (−40 °C), targeting applications that require a high degree of protection.
