Emtaş general purpose industrial motors are three-phase induction motors with cast iron housings, built to IEC standard dimensions. They cover frame sizes 90 to 355, outputs from 0.55 kW to 400 kW and 2 to 16 poles.
The housing and end shields are cast iron and the feet are spheroidal graphite iron. Motors up to frame 280 are rated IP55 and frame 315 and above IP65; thermistors and a motor protection relay are standard above frame 250. Other voltages, frequencies, mountings, cooling methods and duty types are available on request.
