Volt
Volt (WEG Group) electric motors: VTP three-phase, VSP single-phase, VPM permanent magnet and VSR synchronous reluctance series plus special motors.
Volt Motor was founded in 1966 to make winding products, started building single-phase motors in 1987 and later added three-phase motors. After operating within Saya Holding from 2011 to 2024, the company joined WEG, one of the world's largest electric motor manufacturers, in December 2024. Volt motors are now offered under the "Volt – WEG Group" name.
The range covers frame sizes 56 to 355 and outputs up to 450 kW. Operating as a registered R&D centre since 2021, Volt supplies IE3 premium efficiency motors and has developed IE4 and IE5 super premium efficiency motors through its own research.
Current series are VTP (three-phase), VSP (single-phase), VPM (permanent magnet) and VSR (synchronous reluctance) motors. Special versions are also available for applications such as smoke extraction, milking machines, compressors, fans, industrial ovens and automatic doors.
