The Volt VPM series comprises permanent magnet motors designed with IE4+ efficiency to meet even the most demanding energy-saving targets. Their compact design and high performance raise overall system efficiency.
The rotor uses ferrite magnets instead of rare-earth (NdFeB) magnets, giving more stable magnetic flux at high temperatures and greater tolerance to demagnetisation. The series is built in aluminium frames 80–100 with 2 or 4 poles, and special shafts and other power and speed ratings are available on request.
